Josie Sinnamon – Family & Parenting Specialist (she/her)
Josie is passionate about all aspects of family and parenting. She holds a Master of Social Work, a Graduate Diploma in Child, Youth, and Family Therapy, and a Bachelor of Health Science (Hons) in Public Health. Her specialty lies in child development, behaviour, parenting, and post-separation parenting support.

Josie works with infants, children, adolescents, adults, and families, using an attachment-based, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming approach. She believes that the parent-child relationship is the most crucial foundation for good mental health throughout life.
Josie develops and facilitates therapeutic parenting programs for common issues such as behaviour challenges, neurodevelopmental concerns (e.g., fussy eating, PDA, physical and verbal aggression), attunement, emotional coaching, emotional regulation, and post-separation parent-child relationship support.
She also supports children and adults within the NDIS, helping them achieve their life goals and independence. This includes working with individuals with neurodevelopmental and psychosocial diagnoses.
Josie utilizes various modalities, including:
- family systems therapy
- play therapy
- interpersonal neurobiology
- polyvagal theory
- individual and small group-based psychotherapy
- Circle of Security (small groups or on an individual basis)
Josie is available for weekly consultations and group programs will be run after-hours.
Kurt Vella – Psychologist & Family Report Writer
Kurt has been a Registered Psychologist for 15 years in a variety of environments including child, youth and family mental health, rural community services, prison and addictions, hospitals, and now directing his own private practise.

Kurt has a core focus on depth and relational based work, grounding his therapy and assessment services in attachment, trauma informed care, interpersonal functioning and mentalization based skills
Kurt has extensive training across a broad range of evidence based modalities, some including mentalization based therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy and group psychotherapy.
Kurt’s main offerings are providing treatment services and acting as a Single Expert Witness for Family Court matters.
Dr. Latika Sadashiv – Director Child & Family Matters (she/her)
Dr. Latika works therapeutically in the family law space. She is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution practitioner, offering mediation to assist families to resolve their matters outside of Court.

As an endorsed Counselling and Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Practitioner, she works with developmental and complex trauma presentations. She provides EMDR therapy to both children and adults. Dr. Latika also offers clinical assessment of neurodivergence for both children and adults. As a STAP accredited Supervisor, Latika supervises early and mid-career clinicians. She is passionate about supporting fellow therapists in their therapeutic journey and offers therapy for therapists.
Rue – Director of First Impressions (she/they)
Rue is a Criminology and Human Services graduate undertaking a Bridging Diploma into Psychology. Rue has a deep interest in understanding human behaviour, bringing analytical skills, empathy, and a passion for helping clients overcome challenges and grow personally.
